Merdeka Feast @ Kembali Kitchen

Malaysia will be celebrating its 56th Independence Day on 31 August 2013. It is a day for us to celebrate of what is great about Malaysia and being Malaysian as well as another excuse to treat friends and loved ones to a spectacular High Tea with our acclaimed team at Kembali Kitchen.

为了迎接马来西亚第56岁独立,Kembali Kitchen 为大家带来本地马来西亚正宗的下午茶,这包括 Mixed Vegetable Salad, Rojak Buah-Buahan, Ayam Masak Lemak Cili Padi Minang Negeri Sembilan, Sotong Sambal Petai Selangor, Nasi Dagang Terengganu, Prawn Noodles with Condiments, Grilled Seabass Fish with Grilled Lemon & Honey Onions on Red Pepper Sauce, Rendang Tok Perak Style 以及其他。

Ayam Masak Lemak Cili Padi Minang Negeri Sembilan

The chicken is very soft and the curry sauce is wonderful!



I like this plate of crab with sweet sour sauce. The meat is very soft inside. But one thing I do not like is opening the hard shell to eat, which is quite troublesome.

我喜欢这盘甜酸螃蟹。肉煮得很软。但是我讨厌的是必须自己剥硬壳来吃里面的肉,这是多么麻烦的事啊!

Nasi Dagang Terengganu

They using brown rice in Nasi Dagang Terengganu. I always like to eat brown rice as it is more healthier. Although it looks simple, the combination of chicken floss, fish cracker and the rice is good.

Nasi Dagang Terengganu 中,他们不是用普通米而是使用糙米。我是非常喜欢吃糙米因为比较健康。虽然看起来简单,但是鸡丝,鱼饼以及饭的组合搭配都很协调。

Sotong Sambal Petai Selangor


One of my favourite dish for that day! I never thought that the brownish things inside pumpkin is not meat but pumpkin itself. It tastes great and something new as I never see any restaurant use the fruit as main course with Malay style of saucing.

这是我当天最喜爱的一道料理。我没有想过这巧克力色的物体不是肉而是南瓜。味道很好,我从来没有看过一家餐厅是利用水果来做主菜而且还是以马来式的酱来调配。


This is Chinese style of fried vegetable! I rarely seen Chinese dish in buffet and thanks God now I'm having a chance to try it here! 

这是中餐炒菜。我很少在自由餐中看到中式菜肴,感谢主我有机会在这尝试!


It tastes bland for us as we are heavy taste eater.

这只鸡的味道很淡,可能是我们吃惯较重口味的菜肴。

Kuih Muih

Malay Kuih Muih- I like the green bean cake, but my friend prefers the green white cake.

马来传统糕点-我最爱的是那个绿豆糕,而友人最爱的是那么青白色的糕点,因为他说很香!

The Merdeka Feast High Tea is available on Saturday, 31 August from 12pm to 4pm and priced at RM68+ per adult and RM34+ per child aged 6-12 years old. For those celebrating their birthday on 31 August 2013 or turning 56 in the month of August 2013 alternatively, our 56th guests to make reservation, get to dine for free. Offers are valid for maximum of one person per reservation.

国庆下午茶在8月31日,12点到4点之间享用,价钱是RM68+成人以及RM34+小孩(6-12岁)。凡在8月31日庆祝生日或者是第56位客户预订的话,将可以免费入内享用。此促销仅限1人。
