Fearless! Cheating Death Nightly by Aaron Crow

I was wonder why I must be blind folded when I just wanna watch a magic show at Arena of Genting last weekend. Honestly, I felt anxious if I would fall down walking from the entrance to the stage with a few staircases to climb before sitting down on my seat.

Gosh.....everyone also being blindfolded...guess something interesting later? I was thinking if we would all suddenly being brought to the stage and became one of the guest entertainer. Nevertheless, we were safely seated before the show started. I guessed the staffs wanted us to feel the experience when one can not see. I just got to know it was related to one of the Aaron Crow's blindfolded act which he performed later.

“Fearless! Cheating Death Nightly” is one of a kind show that one must watch at Resorts World Genting. With his fusion of magic, suspense, risky stunts and mystery, Aaron is able to capture the attention of a crowd without uttering a single word. From there, he earned the nickname "The Silent Mentalist."

The Belgium born, silent mentalist has impressed even the likes of Simon Cowell, and won second place under Mental Magic at the World Championships of Magic, the largest competition of its kind that is held every three years. There, he battled against 150 other world renowned acts in front of a crowd of 2,500 people.

Crow's official website states: "At the age of three, Aaron was rushed to hospital with a needle stuck in his throat. It was a frightening experience, although luckily he made a complete recovery. But it was his encounter with a mouse that crawled on his back while he was in bed when he was five that first inspired him—it made him think about fears and how people overcome them.

“Fearless! Cheating Death Nightly” features a positive theme—facing and overcoming our fears. Aaron sees himself as a “warrior with a mission.” “We can all overcome our fears, we can all become stronger. The time is now; a new year, a new you, a fearless you,” he says.

At my own seat, I could see him ate the needle and lastly threading the needle out from his mouth. I was sweat watching his terrifying brilliant presentation.

Following after the needle eating, he soon poured the hot candle wax over his eyes. I was like :O ouch....I felt the pain instead. He covered his face with bandages, black tape and foil. He then used a Knife to slice the bag, nunchucks to break the board, and a Katana to slice the pineapple in two – all without injuring any of his volunteers. (check my 3 mins video recorded)

This popular act is proudly known as “Supravision,” possibly the most spectacular blindfold act in the world. Highly original and authentic, his routines are performed in silence with the exception of some spine-tingling eerie music in the background.
