Getting Thrilled @ Putrajaya Challenge Park

Putrajaya Challenge Park is definitely an exciting place for those seeking an adrenaline-rush or to challenge themselves. The facilities run by Perbadanan Putrajaya (Putrajaya Municipality), are well-managed and have a range of options to cater for visitors of all ages and levels of ability.

Even a beginner like me can find something fun to do here!

Anyway, the well-designed park was opened to the public in 2009 and has three main attractions:
  • Skate Park – Flow park with terrain designed for skating
  • Thrill Park - Mountain Bike & BMX Trails
  • Indoor Rock Wall Climbing Complex– Walls of varying difficulty, for beginners and experts alike

Skate Park is specially designed flow parks that create memorable skateboarding, rollerblading and stunt riding experiences. The park features many terrain types, including bowls and street obstacles that skaters can mix and match around to create the ultimate skate challenge.

It was a hot sunny day at noon when we visited the park, therefore there were not many visitors there, according to the staff.

The Thrill Park is located behind the Skate Park. The signboard stated that it is dedicated for mountain bikes and BMX bikes. Sorry, other bikes are not allowed there.

We were awed by the interior of the wall designs. Some of my friends were just unafraid of heights and enjoyed their climb. As I have acrophobia, I just tried climbing at Zone B, which is rather easy. A thick spring bed is put underneath the wall for safety purpose.
