A stay at Ibis Styles Sandakan Waterfront Hotel

Huhu that's a long time since I stopped to write about Sandakan after Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, Myne Resort and  Kenalanmu Restaurant. This time I would share a little bit about the hotel I stayed in Sandakan town. Sandakan town is a very small town, that's my first impression when I been there. The only shopping mall there is Sandakan Harbour Mall. Thus, I would like to say the outskirts of Sandakan is far more exciting. Sandakan town might be a day of transit for you before you moving to nearby attractions.

The elegant Ibis Styles Sandakan Waterfront Hotel offers air-conditioned room facing ocean or street view. Initially I was offered with the ocean view room but in the end, I was being changed to another room facing street :(

It is a bit noisy at night when the shop closing. I did not sleep well that night with the chair pulling noise and voices.

The next morning before our departure, we went up to Four Points by Sheraton Sandakan to take some pictures. The infinity swimming pool looks cool :)

  2. I love your post. :)

It brings back a lot of good memories for me. I lived in Sabah for 3 years so it was nice to see places like Sandakan again, although I spent more time in KK. It has changed a lot, Sandakan used to be a sleepy little town.

  4. ·If you have any docking or decking outside the home, get it into shape. This is one of the most important of all aspects of ownership on the water.
