Staycation @ G-Luxe by Gloria, Genting Highlands

The opening of G-Luxe by Gloria marks the joint endeavours of Ion Delemen Properties Sdn Bhd and Gloria Hotels and Resort for their first Boutique hotel in Malaysia and the first of its kind in Genting Highlands. This 5-star boutique hotel that sits 6000 feet above sea level is the pinnacle of luxury. Opened since November 2019, this hotel offers another stay option for guests who would like to get away from the crowd in Sky Avenue and close to Mother Nature while enjoying the cool climate here. Its excellent taste in interior design that combines Western styles and Asian flavour perfectly complements its eclectic modern infrastructure.

We spent our 3D2N at the Executive Suite of G-Luxe by Gloria Genting Highlands. The room was spacious, bright and comfy.

I was delighted and surprised by the kitchen cabinet set up in the room. We cooked our cup noodles in the room one night when we did not feel like going out for dinner.

The cute little elephant on the bed was seen as welcoming us to the room.

At the bedside, there was drawer at each side with plugs and switches that controlled the room lightings. It was especially useful when you getting laze at night and not wanna get up walking to switch off the lightings in the room.

There was a mini living hall area with a large TV. That's one of our favourite spots in the day time when we did not feel like going out.

One would never get bored in the room as they offered 58 TV channels and FM. There must be one that you might interest to watch. 

Another thing I liked for this Executive Suite was more than enough plugs available in the room that I would not need my extension plugs for charging my phone and other electronic devices.

The bathroom was equipped with the hairdryer and plugs too. There was a makeup mirror on the wall for ladies.

Toothbrush, sanitary bags, emery board, shoe mitt, shaving kit, comb, sewing kit and cotton buds were all given in the toiletries set pouch beside the basin.

There were fixed rainfall showerhead and a handheld showerhead attached at the wall of the bathroom. One can turn the faucet left or right for the water temperature control.

G-Luxe by Gloria made me feel at home in the room with all the amenities. The ROOM PLUS hair and body wash (provided at the bathroom) formula is derived from the United Kingdom which is paraben and silicone-free that is safe to use for its guests.

Among all the things, I have a soft spot for clean bathrobes and hotel slippers. Most hotels did not provide these. The white robe is thick, cosy and absorbent. I put on a post-shower before getting dressed, after a swim and even sleep when the room is cold.

After a long tiring day of wearing heels and wedges, slipping our feet into a pair of cosy, fluffy bedroom slippers would be the most relaxing thing ever! Be sure to open the drawer looking for it as it was placed there.

You could even store your valuable belongings in the safety box.

There was an air conditioner in the room instead of a fan like FW hotel.

Inside the room, we had tea and coffee facilities. Arissto coffee machine and kettles were provided. All the items at the minibar (packet drinks) were included in the room rate.

The minibar was modernized with the see-through door.

Six packet drinks were complimentary for hotel guests as mentioned.

This niche hotel is beautifully hedged by the natural hills on the mountain while being located a mere 10 minutes’ drive from the Genting Highlands City of Entertainment where 24-hour taxi service,

Grab car service and scheduled complimentary shuttle service are available. Hence making it the ideal getaway for quiet retreats, adventure seekers and shopping enthusiasts.

The parking is free. G-Luxe by Gloria is a good place to be!
