Chinese New Year 2015 Carnival @ Mydin Mall

Time flies. I still remembered we celebrated CNY a month back. This is considered my late post updating an event I attended in the end of February. Besides Tesco, Aeon, Econsave, Mydin is also one of the well known supermarket/ hypermarket in Malaysia. Mydin was working hand in hand with local community newspaper, SJ ECHO for Chinese New Year 2015 Carnival.

For every festival celebrated in Malaysia, all Malaysian will celebrate together regardless of the ethnic. During Mydin CNY carnival, the local community in Subang Jaya came as early as 5pm so that they don't miss up the fun.

This year is a ram year.  Or we also call it sheep year or goat year. But some of us prefer to call it goat year as the pronunciation is almost similar to good year.

34 old folks from Rumah Bakti Ci Hang Chempaka also invited to the event.

A lot of activities have been planned for the CNY 2015 carnival such as lucky draw, tossing yee sang, acrobatic dragon dance, acrobatic lion dance, Chinese culture dance, martial art, Chinese drum and etc.

Lucky draw prizes are simply awesome. These included TV sharp LED 60 inch, Iphone 6 plus, Iphone 6, TV Samsung LED 40 inch, 2 ipad mini, Samsung Tab, Toshiba Refrigerator, Samsung Home Theater, Washing machine, TDK Trek Sound system, fan cooler, TDK Earphone, multicooker, watch, Asus Fonepad, Fearless Mountain Bicycle, hamper and etc. All the Mydin Meriah card holders with minimum spend of RM88 per receipt were entitled to participate in the lucky draw. On the other hand, all visitors at that night were spoilt with Hainan chicken rice, Chinese Fried Rice, Singapore Meehun, Dim Sum, Laksa Asam, Bubur Kacang, Pulut Hitam, pastry just to name a few at the destined 12 stalls for free!

Thanks to Mydin invitation and hope to attend such event again ^^
