Mama Mia Pizza @ Chatz Brasserie, PARKROYAL

I like pizza but how about customize own pizza? I was surprised that Chatz Brasserie's Mama Mia Pizza allows diners to customize their very own pizzas in the restaurant.

Chatz Brasserie has an open kitchen. We had a sneak peek when the chefs were making our pizzas.

Chatz Brasserie

Have a look at the ingredients from the sea:

They looked fresh!

Another side of the table placed the breads, butter, soup and salads!

Variety of breads

I was told all the butters were home made!

At each table, there was a few pieces of order forms. Take a look at it> variety choice of toppings and each divided into different categories such as From the Sea, From the Land, From the Farm, From the Dairy, From the Garden and sauces! For RM49 nett, we got as many customized pizza as we want, salad bar and soup!

For beverage, it is only RM3 add on for free flow of Coke or Sprite. RM10 for a glass of draft beer and RM35 for a jug of draft beer.

I took a cup of mushroom from the bar table. We can take as many as we want with no extra charges.

Chefs were working out our orders!

There are Mozzarella, Parmesan, Cheddar, Gouda, Emmental and Blue Cheese! Well, we don't get all these kind of block cheese in hypermarket!

Whenever I thought of customized pizza, it must be our home made pizza. Buying all the ingredients from hypermarket, washing and cleaning all the ingredients, cutting and chopping them and etc before putting inside a heated oven. How much time we spent in making all these? Moreover what if you are eating alone? For me, I'm not willing to keep myself that busy preparing all these when I'm eating alone, just go out and settle.

For a large pizza 12'', it is RM 32.80 and RM 4.50 for extra topping, excluded the 6% gov tax and 10% service charge in one of the famous pizza franchise outlet! Total all up is RM43.27. (The bill does not vary much from RM49 Mama Mia Pizza) Well, I would rather spend extra RM5.73 for eat-all-you-can customized Mama Mia pizza and a complimentary take-home pizza in Chatz Brasserie, PARKROYAL!

Chatz Brasserie, PARKROYAL!

This was how it looked like....made using all the ingredients I ticked in the order form. I know it looked weird but hey it did not taste bad!

Other customized Mama Mia pizza by my friend

All looked different because of the different toppings selection

Eventually I had my own Mama Mia fruit pizza! Honestly, it didn't taste like pizza but more like a birthday cake. It is a very fun concept. We can played around with the ingredients and excited to see the outcome like how it tasted and how it looked like.

For those of you who also like to try having own customized pizza, please come to Chatz Brasserie every Thursday from 6 to 10 pm. It is only priced at RM49 nett inclusive of salad bar and soup. On your way out, you can take home a pizza of your choice with compliments from Chatz Brasserie, PARKROYAL.
