旧古仔路中国餐厅@Qing He Lo Restaurant

位于旧古仔路,在NSK 超市隔壁Kuchai Avenue 豪华公寓下的中国餐厅清和楼,营业至今才不到一年。

Located in the Old Klang Road, next to NSK supermarket and under Kuchai Avenue luxury apartment, Chinese restaurant Qing He Lo, is operating less than a year until now.


老板是本地华裔,老板娘则是中国人。聘请的厨师全部都是中国人,所以在这必可吃到正统的中国菜式。

The owner is a local Chinese and his wife is from China. They hire chefs from China, so all customers dine in here are experiencing the  Chinese orthodox dishes.


进到去,其实在装潢上也没有很中国feel,除了天花板上的那几盏灯以外。

Go inside, in fact, it is also not very Chinese decor feel, except to those few lights on the ceiling.

Squirrel Fish RM35
松鼠鱼因形似而得名,将鱼去鳞,鳃,内脏用水洗净后,将鱼尾相连入油锅炸到金黄色。再浇上酱汁,变化身成为我们眼前看到色泽鲜艳,鲜嫩酥香,酸甜适口的美食。个人喜欢的一点是吃它鱼身时,没有骨刺,所以不必担心骨头卡在喉咙的问题,小孩也可放心吃。除此以外,鱼也完全没有腥味。这的确来这里必试之美食哦!


Squirrel Fish is famous because of its shape. After clean and clear off scales, gills and viscera from the fish, fishtail together with the body put into the pan to fried until golden brown. Doused with the sauce, it becomes what we see in front of us, beautiful bright colour, soft in mouth, sweet and sour balanced gourmet. What I personally like is that we no need to take out the bone off the body as it is boneless. And what else, kids can eat safely without worry the bone stucked at the throat. Must try this when you come here!


Braised Great Circle Trotters RM58

[猪蹄,又叫猪脚猪手,前蹄为猪手,后蹄为猪脚。含有丰富的胶原蛋白质,脂肪含量也比肥肉低,近年在对老年人衰老原因的研究中发现,人体中胶原蛋白质缺乏,是人衰老的一个重要因素。它能防治皮肤干瘪起皱、增强皮肤弹性和韧性,对延缓衰老和促进儿童生长发育都具有物殊意义。为此,人们把猪蹄称为“美容食品” 和“类似于熊掌的美味佳肴”。]百度资料

这是我网上找到的资料,个人觉得适量的吃才是上策,因为毕竟猪肉也含胆固醇,吃多对身体不好。我尝试了一口,质感和味道就如粽子里面的味道一样,肉很松软,淋上甜酱,非常可口。老板娘还说制作这猪蹄需要4小时哦!

The owner's wife told us that the time for it to serve on table is 4 hours.

盐水灰天鹅是南京的名菜。最独特的地方是,肉竟然是冷的!没有吃过冷肉的人,初时会对这道菜肴有点抗拒,但过后会慢慢接受。可以放心的是,虽然是冷的,但由于用盐水炮制,可以防止细菌在肉上滋长,放入冰厨储藏也可以缓慢细菌成长,所以可以放心吃。我们吃了也没拉肚子啊!说了大家关切的卫生问题,接下来便是味道,虽然肉是冷的但不是冷冻,吃起来还是很松软。听说中国老一辈的人,都是叫冷的来吃哦!真的是一大见识!

Brine gray swans is Nanjing dish. The special part is the meats are served cold to all diners. Flavor Fragrant Spicy Shrimp RM35
有了鱼,猪,鹅,所以我就点了风味香辣虾。香辣虾是一道汁浓,麻辣味浓的名菜。所使用的老虎虾,不仅是大只,肉质还很紧韧而爽脆。它的精髓在于其肉质和炒制时加上多种特制香料的调和,让人回味无穷。虾含有20%的蛋白质是蛋白质含量很高的食品之一,是鱼、蛋、奶的几倍至几十倍。虾的组织蛋白质的结构松软,肌纤维比较细,水分含量较多,所以肉质细嫩,容易消化吸收。虾属于白肉,吃多点白肉好比红肉健康得多哦!


We had fish, pork and swine, so I decided to order Flavor Fragrant Spicy Shrimp. Spicy Shrimp is a spicy sour dish with thick sauce. Tiger prawns used not only large in size but also succulent and crispy. The essence lies in its variety of special spices added during frying to reconcile with the meat, makes one to have another bite. Shrimp contains 20% of protein, and one of the food that high in protein, several times higher than fish, egg and milk. The constructive protein structure is soft, relatively small muscle fibers, high water contents, therefore the meat texture is soft and easily digested. Shrimp belongs to white meat, it is much more healthier compared to red meat!


Braised Eggplant with Fish-flavoured RM15


喜欢吃海鲜的我就随便点了道鱼香焖茄子。怎么知道放在桌上时才发现,这鱼非我想的鱼,里面完全没有鱼。原来是这道菜肴里面加了鱼露帮助调味。不知是否是鱼露的关系,这样子看下去好像油油的,不过带点辣味的香焖茄子也是不错的。

I simply ordered Braised Eggplant with Fish-flavoured which I thought there is fish inside. But when it served on table, I was wrong, there is no fish inside. In fact, they added fish sauce only for seasoning. Spicy braised eggplant has a nice taste even though it may look oily at surface.

打开瓦盖,里面是汤水。舀一汤匙上来,里面全是菇类,怎么捞来捞去都看不到有任何肉,所以很好奇为什么没有肉也可以熬到那么甜啊?带着好奇心,问老板娘,这是什么回事,而且还‘八卦’里面到底有多少种的菇类?

老板娘不隐瞒地分享说,这汤用黑鸡以及几种菇类如茶树菇,杏鲍菇,香菇,白玉菇以及真姬菇炖4-5个小时而成。另一惊喜是我们不用预订,一进到去就可以叫一瓦那么美味的鸡菇汤喝!我还蛮喜欢喝这碗汤的,喝完一直再盛,鸡肉味不会重,是我喜爱的味道。

Open the lid, inside it is soup. Ladling out a scoop of soup, all is mushrooms. Exploring the whole pot, no meat is found. So very curious why there is no meat can also stay up so sweet ah? With curiosity, asked the boss, what's going on, but also being busy body to spy how many kinds of mushrooms in the pot?


Proprietress is very generous and not hiding its recipe away telling us that this soup is stewed 4-5 hours with black chicken and few types of mushrooms like tea mushroom, king oyster mushroom, Shiitake mushroom, white mushroom and shimeiji mushroom. Another surprise is that we do not need to call for reservations, walk in customers can always have this chicken mushroom soup!I quite like to drink this soup, and always asking to refill that day, chicken flavor will not be heavy, is my favorite flavor.


Fried Tea Mushroom RM28
这是我在这家餐厅尝试到最多茶树菇的一次,之前好像都没吃过。干煸茶树菇甜甜的,咬起来很爽口。搭配鸡肉一起吃,简直就是最佳拍档。

I never taste tea mushroom before, this is my first time trying here and I guess the most time trying as some dishes also use tea mushroom. Fried Tea Mushroom is sweet to bite. Together with chicken, it is simply the best partner.

Mixed Fungus and Coriander RM8

香菜拌木耳,外貌和味道一样,都是很简单。咬下去就是清清的香菜味道,这香菜其实很个人,有些人可以接受,有些人则不能。我个人觉得还好,木耳咀嚼时还是很弹牙的哦!

Appearance of mixed fungus and coriander is simple so do the taste. With one bite, it has very little coriander taste in it. For some people, they can accept it, but for others, it may not acceptable. I am okay with it overall, the fungus is very elastic when chewing in the mouth!
