Semi-Extreme Cosmetic Treatments with Stunning Results

Doing eyebrow embroidery to ease my makeup routine

Beauty isn't just about lotions and makeup. You can find a whole lot of semi-extreme cosmetic treatments with stunning results. A trained and licensed professional can offer complete and practical therapies, from getting a Hollywood smile to doing away with daily makeup application altogether. Additionally, some treatments cause a little bit of pain but are considered worth it in the end.

Permanent Makeup
Some people don't like applying makeup every day, and it takes up valuable time in the morning or evening. If you're tired of your daily makeup routine, you can try semi-permanent makeup. It's not invasive, but it's painful. An experienced therapist will numb your face first during the application, and you might need painkillers afterwards. However, after a few days, you'll have a gorgeous face makeup finish that will last a year at least. So, no more removing and applying makeup each day, freeing up your time for more important things.

Fat Removal
Fat dissolvers are another non-invasive treatment with excellent results. They work by injecting substances under the skin. The thighs and hips are treated with chemicals that break down fat and get rid of it naturally. You don't have to book repeat treatments with high-quality fat dissolvers if you exercise and live a healthy lifestyle. Eating right and regular exercise will keep excess fat away forever. Kybella and Aqualyx are some of the most popular treatments used by many trained and licensed beauticians worldwide.

Skin Filling Treatments
The face gets the most attention when it comes to cosmetics. This means there are a lot of facial treatments out there. Most practitioners work on the skin's surface, but some go a bit deeper. Dermal fillers are a popular yet expensive alternative to lotions. Here are some of the most popular ones:
  • Botox
  • Sculptra
  • Voluma
  • Restylane
  • Juvederm
  • Radiesse

You can get a lot of these fillers from trained beauticians, and they're all at different prices. They're all designed for particular areas too. For example, botox is a great way to smooth wrinkles around the eyes and forehead. Juvederm, on the other hand, is best for cheeks and lips. However, unlike fat dissolvers, you need repeat treatments for the best results.

Tooth Alignment and Whitening
Smiles are something a lot of people are self-conscious about. According to a recent study, about 50% of people don't smile as much as they should or want to because they're embarrassed about their teeth. Embarrassing things like bleeding gums, discolouration, and tooth decay can happen to anyone. You could get dental implants treatment. Even though crowns are pricey, they're a better option than full or partial dentures. They're stronger and last longer. Alternatively, you can whiten your teeth and align with adult dental items such as Invisalign.

Laser Hair Treatment
Body hair grows on everyone, men and women alike. Nevertheless, there are cultures where female body hair is accepted in certain places, like under the arms in France. Also, some feminists rebelliously and admirably embrace their own body hair. Most Western women, on the other hand, find body hair annoying. You can usually remove it by shaving, waxing, or chemically removing it. But if you're targeting a specific area. The process is relatively pain-free and lasts about two years.

Hydrafacial Therapy
During a Hydrafacial, you'll get exfoliation, extraction, and infusion at the same time. Applying all three treatments simultaneously means there's no oil production between treatments. The accompanying wand is gently used on your face to remove blackheads from the surface layer. At the same time, it sucks out any oils from your pores and applies hydrating creams. Hydrafacial is an expensive treatment. However, it doesn't really hurt, and the results should last for around one month. Repeat treatments are required for the best results.

Vampire Facial Treatment
Perhaps the most extreme treatment here, and not for the squeamish, is the vampire facial. Microneedling with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a cosmetic procedure that requires taking blood from the arm. Those platelets get separated then applied back to your face. There are tons of benefits to this procedure, like younger-looking skin. Kim Kardashian is a well-known user of this treatment and has helped popularize it over the years. The results are stunning, despite its off-putting nature. Additionally, it's not as expensive as you would expect.

With most of these treatments, repeat procedures are necessary. However, the time between procedures varies greatly and can be lifestyle-dependent. Further, all of these treatments are excellent alternatives to invasive cosmetic surgeries such as facelifts, tummy tucks, and liposuction. Therefore, they are safer and cost a lot less in the long run.
