Hiking @ Bukit Putih (Ah Pek Hill Trail)

Bukit Putih is one of the easiest hill to hike among other hills in Klang Valley. It is located at Taman Segar Perdana, some distance away from Leisure Mall. The hill also about 15 minutes driving distance from my house. I was brought by a friend to hike here once about 4 years back. When I was about to hike alone early this year, I was a bit lost with the entrance to the hill since I never came back here after that.

From here, walk straight pass by the coconut stall at your left side, and you will see the way up on your left.

Unlike Bukit Gasing where you will have easy walk on flat surface before the steep slope, the starting point of Bukit Putih is going to blow off your mind. Extra care is needed when just rained a day before.

On the way, there are yellow signboard stick on the trees which point you to the direction that you are heading later.

I remember there are station 1,2,3,4,5 and 6. I able to reach station 6 when I was with my friend last time. But now I have no idea of it. Changes in Bukit Putih especially the construction work involved for the SUKE highway are significant when you approaching the top.

Along the way, we saw a lot hikers brought their pets for some exercises too.

That's my photo together with the tree branches in Bukit Putih. It looks eerie if it is dark. However, it looks like a place which can hang your things (clothes) ....LOL

Recently, I turned down a lot of events just to have more self time for exercising and writing thesis. Hiking is my new like. I do it every weekend. For the purpose of exercising and fresh air from the green lung of the city. Next, I will share some other hiking spots with you guys :)

    2. For Ah Pek Hill, I rarely go now. But I will update more for coming time. The last I went, some part of the hills are involved in construction and seemed dangerous to hikers. Thus, I went down after reaching there. I heard there is a way to the waterfall but needs to get through the construction site. How long you wanna hike is depends on your own body condition and your pace if you can cope with it. There are rest stations from 1 to 6 and may be more I guess. You can stop at whatever stations and calculate how much time you spend for each station hike.
