Artbox in Malaysia @ Sunway City KL

That's my first time heard about Artbox and been excitedly waiting to pay a visit when I knew they would come to Malaysia last year. So what's Artbox?

"Artbox Bangkok is a cool new pop-up market with a difference: the stalls (not all of them) are housed in giant metal shipping containers which can be moved around the city. Previous locations include Queen Sirikit MRT Station, Makkasan MRT Station and Chatuchak. Something else that makes Artbox all the more appealing is that you won’t find all the usual tacky tourist souvenirs such as on Sukhumvit, Silom and throughout Chattuchak. The stuff here is still cheap, but there is more of a focus on local designers, vintage fashion, handmade accessories, funky gadgets and hip home décor items. Not a carved wooden frog or Chang vest in sight. Throw in a few bars, a live music stage and dozens of food vendors, and you have yourself one of Bangkok’s coolest new night markets." As this was the first time Artbox came to Malaysia, Malaysian youngster was crazy about it. The queue to enter the venue was long. It was bored to stand and wait for our turn just to get in.

They controlled the crowd and limited the number of persons that went in. I think they really did well in publicity. But unfortunately the space was too small to cater for such event.

Instagramable spot but with the crowd, that's not easy to take a nice picture

The day was hot. It was difficult to walk also. I felt like suffocated here...

I can't really shop here since too many people around. I only strolled around the area where not much people like here, ops I did not mean anything yeah!

Airmocks looks good for those who like camping but in Malaysia which rains frequently, is this still practical to use? Hmm....

First time I seen the powerbank rental service. But do we really need it? Everyone seem able to purchase one now and sometimes I saw they carried two and above.

tadah... the cotton candy... I was planning to find some food here for dinner but at last cancelled my idea. First, the queue for food was crazy. Second, the place was hot. Third, no seats. Fourth, the food price almost the same with the one found in Sunway Pyramid (air-conditioned place). Fifth, the food nothing special as most of the food stalls (e.g Tealive, Bean Brothers, myinsidescoops, Shihlin Taiwan Streets) were able to find in mall or in Malaysia (not any special Thai food). Suddenly, I felt like I was having "princess fever" LOL. So, if you were me, would you do the same?
