Genting Dream Cruise (Half Day Ship Tour)

Dream Cruises, the luxury Asian cruise brand of Genting Cruise Lines, celebrated the arrival of Genting Dream early in December at the Boustead Cruise Centre in Port Klang, Selangor. It receives “Best New Ship” and “Best Cruise Line – Entertainment” recognition at the Travel Weekly Asia Reader’s Choice Awards 2017.

Dream Cruises’ inaugural vessel, Genting Dream, is a luxurious floating integrated resort designed specifically for the Asian market, which commenced her homeport deployment in Singapore on 16 November 2017. Genting Dream takes guests on a range of 2-night weekend cruises and alternating 5-night Sunday cruises from Singapore to destinations in the Straits of Malacca and in the Java Seas. The 5-night Straits of Malacca Cruise will feature Port Klang-Penang-Phuket itineraries and the 5-night cruise in the Java Sea Cruises for a 12-night cruise, with the option of spending the weekend in between either on board the ship or in a hotel in Singapore.

In conjunction with Genting Dream’s inaugural call to Port Klang, I was invited to Dream Cruises for an exclusive preview of Dream Cruises, as well as watching the thrilling signature production show inspired by the hull art of Genting Dream, conceived by pop-art artist Jacky Tsai, entitled “Voyage of a Lover’s Dream” – a tale of love, hope and the overcoming of seemingly impossible boundaries between a mermaid and an astronaut.

With Dream Cruises, guests in board Genting Dream can enjoy a new “integrated resort” experience at sea featuring luxurious comforts, thrilling shows, and numerous dining options.

The ultimate in opulence at sea, Dream Palace offers a discrete “ship within a ship” experience – an exclusive enclave that will pamper guests with the most spacious suites in Asia, luxury amenities, priority access and European Butler service.
