Dutch Lady 5 Days Breakfast Challenge

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day after a long hours of rest. Breakfast kick-starts your metabolism. It also gives you the energy you need to get things done and helps you focus at work or at school. Many studies have linked eating breakfast to good health, including better memory and concentration, lower levels of “bad” LDL cholesterol, and lower chances of getting diabetes, heart disease, and being overweight.

Many people skip the a.m. meal because they’re rushing to get out the door. That’s a mistake. You need food in your system long before lunchtime. If you don’t eat first thing, you may get so hungry later on that you snack on high-fat, high-sugar foods. So, guys please don't skip your breakfast. I'm sharing with you guys my breakfast for 5 days here which hopefully enlighten you out there the simple meal you can make at home:

Day 1 breakfast: Fried Mee Hun, orange and Dutch Lady Purefarm Milk

Theme: Quick Grab

It can be quite easy to fried it if you prepare the grated carrots and sliced cucumber earlier before sleep. Thus, you could just fried the mee hun with the ingredients after wake up. Or to be hassle free, you could buy at daily market for the fried mee hun.

Day 2 breakfast: Steamed corn  and Dutch Lady Purefarm Milk

Theme: Quick Grab

That's another example I'm showing to you guys. If you rushing for works, steamed corn could be a great idea. You just put the corn over the pot and steam for 5 minutes to be ready served on table.

Day 3 breakfast: Oat biscuits topped with tuna spread, cherry tomatoes, lettuces and Dutch Lady Purefarm Milk

Theme: Easy Feast

For easy feast, I just thought of the finger food I always eat at the event. Thus, I apply it on my breakfast meal preparation. I bought the oat biscuits, topped with cherry tomatoes and lettuce. Anyone thinking of having home party or feast, this could be your choice too!

Day 4 breakfast: Oyster Peanut Porridge and Dutch Lady Purefarm Milk

Theme: Fave Brekkie

Waking up morning and feel no appetite? Well, I believe after you have the oyster peanut porridge, you might change your mind and asking for second bowl. The preparation and cooking for the porridge is simple and easy. Make sure you soak the peanuts for more than an hour (or better overnight) for it to soften. Make sure the oysters are washed before cooking.

That's how the Chinese's favourite porridge looks like. You can choose to sprinkle it with some extra virgin olive oil to make it more healthier.

Day 5 breakfast: Home-made otak-otak pizza (topped with cherry tomatoes, capsicums, pineapples and sweet thyme leaves) and Dutch Lady Purefarm Milk

Theme: Fave Brekkie

I always think of making own pizza which I can always customize it myself. When making pizza, I tend to do something special which no one do before. I topped with otak-otak fish onto the pizza base. I also put capsicums, pineapples, cherry tomatoes, cheese and sweet thyme leaves onto it. There is no recipe for this, and all I experimenting it my own. It turns out great as I never expected.
